The Village of Tower Hill (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Village of Tower Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant Renovations. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC, 114 W. Washington Avenue, Effingham, IL 62401 The Project includes the following Work: construction and renovation of the existing lagoon system. The work shall include sludge removal, earth excavation, and all necessary piping, etc. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Village of Tower Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant Renovations. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Deposit checks for bidding documents should be made to Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC. There will be no refunds issued for bidding documents. Pre-bid Conference -N/A For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to he instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Some of the project funding would be from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that the firm must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and that Federal Section 3 and all other Federal, State and Local provisions shall apply. The Village of Tower Hill reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the procurement process. Bidders must have a SAM Unique Entity ID assigned and a complete, active SAM registration prior to contract award [85 FR 49523, 25.205], and not be excluded from participating in any federal assistance program [24 CFR 85, Subpart C 85.35].
