Renovation of a mixed-use development in Las Vegas, Nevada. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.
“The previous solicitation has been included below for reference:” UNLV seeks an experienced and qualified Nevada-licensed general contractor to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR') to provide the following services for the HVAC upgrades and cosmetic improvements. Pre-Construction Phase and, if the proposed GMP is accepted, to proceed with the Construction Phases -(collectively, the "Project'). The Project shall comply with the requirements of OSHA, all applicable federal, state and county statutes, regulations, and codes. The CMAR will provide cost estimating as well as provide a project construction schedule and constructability assessment, including document review. The estimated funding amount is subject to change based on the determined scope, schedule and actual funding received for the project. Pre-Construction work will be performed on a fixed price basis (see Pricing Response Form Attachment 1). The cost of the construction work will be based on a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) as described in the Contract Documents. UNLV will request GMP's per the Preconstruction Contract for the base bid and any alternate work.
