Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jefferson, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of April 6, 2023, project was awarded to Bedard Excavation but awarded amount is not available.**  The project includes removal and replacement of precast concrete ramp planks, a paved parking area, and regrading and ditching of Barton Road at Long Pond in Jefferson, Maine. The cost of the work is approximately $ 140,000. The work to be performed under this contract shall be completed on or before the Final Completion date of September 29, 2023. The in-water work is restricted to the period between July 1 and August 30. No tree clearing shall be completed in June or July. This project is financed with Federal and State funds. Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions shall apply to this contract. The Contractor shall complete the BABA Submittal Certification for all products used on this project. In addition, State of Maine Fair Minimum Wage Rates shall also apply to this project. Any bid received after the noted time will not be considered a valid bid and will remain unopened. Any bid submitted by any other means will not be considered a valid bid. The Bid Administrator may require the Bidder to surrender a valid paper copy of the bid form or the bid security document in certain circumstances. If noted above as required, or if any combination of Base Bid and Alternate Bids amounts selected in the award of the contract exceeds $125,000.00, the selected Contractor shall furnish a 100% contract Performance Bond (section 00 61 13.13) and a 100% contract Payment Bond (section 00 61 13.16) in the contract amount to cover the execution of the Work.
