PROJECT NUMBER SAG2005613 The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) issues this Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price construction contract for: PROJECT TITLE: Repair USDA Headhouse #2 Marucci Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research. PROJECT LOCATION: Phillip E. Marucci Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research 125 Lake Oswego Road, Chatsworth, NJ 08019 SPECIFICATIONS and DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. SELECTION PROCESS: The Proposals will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process. The selection process will evaluate such factors (not necessarily in order): Past Performance, Technical which includes Management & Experience, and Price. The bidder shall provide Base Bid pricing as defined in the contract documents. The site of work is the headhouse building at the Phillip E. Marucci Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research at 125a Lake Oswego Rd., Chatsworth, New Jersey. The project will include, but not be limited to the following: Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades on USDA Headhouse #2. Additional electrical upgrades at associated USDA Greenhouse. Architectural upgrades include structural slab underpinning, new flooring, ceiling, finishes, insulation, siding, and a new roof truss. A new HVAC system, plumbing upgrades, and other items as shown and described in Contract Documents specifications and drawings listed herein.
