Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Rexburg, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The successful Proposer will construct fiber to the home / business infrastructure for the Lightbridge Community Broadband network, a project of the City of Rexburg and Madison County ID, intends to pass over 1500 homes in 10 or more neighborhoods in 2023. Neighborhoods will be selected, designed, and constructed based on several criteria that Lightbridge evaluates on a rolling basis. Because of the neighborhood selection process the locations of the neighborhoods are not currently defined. Interested bidders will submit pricing based on unit costs for construction. The pricing will be evaluated based on a projection to pass 2000 homes as defined under "BID SCHEDULE" in the "PROPOSAL" section of this document. Proposers are encouraged to submit bids for Fiber to the Home Construction and Drop Construction. Proposers may respond individually to FTTH or Drop Construction if they choose. The City of may award contracts for BOTH FTTx Construction and Drop Construction, or may award the contracts separately depending on the bids received. Lightbridge Community Broadband will provide all construction materials for the project. Consumables, considered to be gravel, ground rods, soil, seed and straw, asphalt, concrete, splicing consumables (wipes, cleaner, splice tubes, etc), fasteners, tape, and lube are the responsibility of the Proposer. The City reserves the right to reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bid Documents.
