Lincoln County Schools is accepting bids for Network Wiring and the installation of Axis network cameras at multiple sites throughout the district. Sites are as follows: Battleground Elementary School, G.E. Massey Elementary School, Iron Station Elementary School, Love Memorial Elementary School, Norris S. Childers Elementary School, North Brook Elementary School, S. Ray Lowder Elementary School, Union Elementary School 1. The cabling contractor must possess a low-voltage wiring license (SP-LV) issued by the state of North Carolina and adhere to all local and national electrical standards. 2. The cabling contractor/camera contractor must directly employ a full-time BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). The RCDD will not be a "contracted" employee of the cabling contractor. 3. The cabling contractor/camera contractor must directly employ a full-time MCIT Milestone Certified Integration Technician. The MCIT will not be a "contracted" employee of the cabling/camera contractor. 4. The requirements listed in numbers one, two, and three above must be met for LCS to accept any quotes from potential cabling contractor/camera contractors. 5. The cabling contractor/camera contractor must provide, at a minimum, a 25-year installation and performance warranty on the certified structured cabling system that must include both materials and labor. 6. The cabling contractor/camera contractor must provide a 2-hour response time for repairs during the initial one-year warranty period at no additional cost to LCS and must include both materials and labor.
