For 2023 Parks Trash Removal Service Service to provide all the labor and transportation necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work. Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or his duly authorized agent. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with "PROPOSAL: 2023 PARKS TRASH REMOVAL SERVICE", and with the bidder's name. The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Cortez is requesting Bids for trash and litter removal services for the Parks Department. The service is to provide all the necessary labor, equipment and transportation required for the satisfactory completion of the work. The City of Cortez will supply consumables such as trash bags and dumpsters. It is expected that the successful firm will perform all of the duties as specified on a weekly basis. The City may request/schedule additional trash and litter removal services per site depending upon events or other needs. Following is a list of minimum specifications that your proposal shall include for each building. The Contractor agrees to pick up all litter and empty trash cans at the following park locations: Area across from the Recreation Center Baseball fields Centennial Park Denny Lake Park Fourth Street Pocket Park Montezuma Park Parque de Vida Recreation Center Parking lot Rotary Park Ballfields Third Street Pocket Park Veterans Park The bidder will provide all labor necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work. The City will provide trash bags and dumpsters for the trash to be disposed in or will pick up bags in an agreed upon location where none are located. The Contractor will provide their own transportation. The City will pay the contractor on a monthly basis in the amount of for the months April through October seven (7) times a week service and the amount of for the months of November through March for three (3) days a week. The City will pay the contractor on a per occurrence basis for event requests in the amount of The service is to begin April 1, 2023. The contract will be effective from April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024 Bonds:. The service shall be bonded for not less than $5,000.
