For Virtue Road and Boyd Station Road Improvements The Town of Farragut, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to design of improvements to Virtue Road and Boyd Station Road from approximately 1100 feet south of Needlegrass Lane to Willow Cove Way. The project will include improvements to horizontal and vertical alignments, intersections at side roads and drives, and will include design of an adjacent greenway from Turkey Creek Road to a point approximately 1750 feet south. The project is funded through a mix of local and Surface Transportation Block Grant funding (L-STBG). The project shall be accomplished in accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering consulting firm must be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest. The prequalified firm must have unlimited status. Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm include, but are not limited to: Required Scope of Services Provide survey and engineering services for all portions of preliminary engineering, including (but not limited to) the following: o Survey and Design o Preparation of preliminary, right of way and construction plans o Environmental clearances, including preparation of NEPA documents o Coordination with right of way acquisition agents during right of way phase o Coordination with utility providers, including meetings with all providers as necessary o Assistance with bidding process o Meetings with various Farragut and TDOT staff, Farragut Municipal Planning Commission and Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen, as well as public hearings as necessary The Town of Farragut reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
