Notice is hereby given that the City of Ashland, Oregon, is currently accepting sealed proposals for a Commercial Grade Air Conditioning System. The new cooling system will need to provide cooling for a minimum of 360 Amps of electrically generated heat. The successful proposer will design, provide and install a complete new commercial grade air conditioning system that meets and/or exceeds the City's minimum requirements for the new commercial grade air conditioning system. A proposer must be licensed by the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board as a contractor for this public improvement project, which will be verified by the City. Pursuant to ORS 279C.365(k), the City may not consider a proposal for a public improvement contract unless the proposer is licensed by the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board. This public improvement contract will be subject to Prevailing Wage Rate Laws ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to provide prospective proposers with sufficient information to prepare and submit a proposal for consideration by the City. The REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS is available by clicking on "REQUEST BID PACKET" located beneath this public notice. In accordance with AMC Section 2.50.080, Competitive sealed proposals may be available online, but applicants will NOT be able to submit their proposals and/or responses online. Proposals must be delivered in hard copy form to the City in accordance with the requirements outlined in the RFP.
