Project Name: Pump Station Fiber Connectivity Project (TRACS) Number: F0587 01D District: Central Route/MP: Various Locations Construction Funding FY: FY 2024 This project is to establish fiber connectivity to pump stations. By establishing the fiber connectivity to all pump stations in the Phoenix metro area a more robust Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system can then be deployed to improve the department's existing pump station operations. Trenching, directional bore, conduit installation, pull box installation, 12-strand fiber installation, and termination panel installation at approximately 48 pump station/pump locations on I-10, I-17, SR202 Red mountain, SR101 Price and Agua Fria, SR51, US60, SR303, and SR24. This 12-strand fiber will be spliced into the department's existing backbone fiber either at existing splice enclosure locations or newly installed splice enclosures. All work will be performed within the department's existing ROW with the exception of the Spookhill Equipment UP (202 Red Mountain @ Brown Road). If the Spookhill work is deemed feasible for this effort it will require a permit from FCDMC. The consultant shall provide a bid package which includes plans, specifications and estimates for construction. The design consultant shall also provide necessary project management tasks including coordination, meetings, project schedule updates and comment responses. Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform will be required.
