It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Minority Business Enterprises participate in all State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will contain a specific participation goal *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Minimum wage rates, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00, unless otherwise stated in the IFB The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
