**As of March 22, 2023 this project has been cancelled and currently there are no plans on rebidding at this time.** The City of Lebanon is accepting sealed bids for the replacement and repairs to the sodium hypochlorite building piping for the City of Lebanon Water Plant. All vendors must be incompliance with all City Codes and current with all City fees and taxes to be considered as a responsive bidder or participant in this process. purpose of this proposal is to provide information for the replacement and/or repairs to all the sodium hypochlorite building chemical piping, connections, and valves for pumps, feed lines, vent stacks and generation units with Corzan CPVC. The bid will need to include an explanation of the work and job requirements, that meet the specifications listed in this proposal. The work covered in these specifications consists of installation, labor, equipment, removal and disposal of existing units, and materials to perform all operations that will completely replace and/or repair the existing piping. The sodium hypochlorite building chemical piping replacements in this Request for Proposal, herein after referred to as RFP, shall be of the following types either "equal to "or "better than". LOCATION City of Lebanon Water Plant 7 Gilmore Hill Road Lebanon, Tennessee 37087 SPECIFICATIONS Replacement and/or repairs of the existing sodium hypochlorite building piping at the City of Lebanon Water Treatment Plant. Building piping requirements: o Only use Corzan brand CPVC, schedule 80 piping o Must show proof of installation training approved by Corzan o Only use Corzan approved fusion and/or welding methods or threaded as necessitated by the installation All installation materials, including but not limited to, flanges, gaskets, and thread sealants that are approved for direct contact with sodium hypochlorite. Corzan CPVC schedule 40 piping or valves may be substituted on a case-by-case basis, based on availability of schedule 80 piping, but must be approved by Plant Manager, City of Lebanon Water Treatment Plant. The preference is a complete CPVC schedule 80 replacement.
