The Work of Project is the Contractor's responsibility, is defined by the Contract Documents, and consists of the following: BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS - INTERIOR -Replace acoustical tile ceilings in corridors, Media Center, and Cafeteria - Remove existing VCT flooring and replace with new LVT flooring at classrooms and other spaces as indicated in contract documents. - Painting of miscellaneous drywall soffits. HVAC SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - Replacement of existing central plant including cooling tower, boilers, heat exchanger, pumps, terminal units, and pressure dependent terminal units. - Replacement of existing water source heat pump (WSHP) units including piping. accessories and bi-polar ionization units. - Replacing roof mounted energy recovery ventilators with energy recovery units providing dehumidification. - Replace existing water heater with multiple instantaneous water heaters - Furnish and install air conditioning in MDF/IDF rooms - Replacement of the energy management system. - Furnish and install kitchen vent hood fans. -Furnish and install duct insulation as indicated in contract documents. - Cleaning of existing ductwork. ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS - Upgrade of electrical distribution system as required for all new HVAC equipment installed. - Replace emergency generator and upgrade generator distribution in accordance with FCS design requirements. - Replace main switchboard. - Replace existing lighting in corridors, Media Center, and Cafeteria with LED lighting. fb LOW VOLTAGE TESTING - Provide inspections of low voltage systems in accordance General Requirements Section 011001 1.3 B.
