As of November 14, 2023, the project has not been awarded as it has been placed on hold. At this time, it has not been confirmed if the project will be rebid. The project will generally consist of the removal and replacement of the existing concrete slab bridge with a new steel beam superstructure and laminated timber deck, rehabilitation, including concrete underpinning, of the concrete abutments as well as the installation of riprap scour protection, approach and bridge railing and general restoration activities. 2023-0150085 Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
