Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Burgaw, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the remodel of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Project is rebidding as no bids were previously received. 331-2023-01, RFQ for Design-Build for Renovation/Addition of Public Works Building. The location of the project is at 213 S McRae Street, Burgaw, NC 28425. More specifically, it will be the south-west corner of the building. The building houses an employee area, vehicle maintenance bays, and mower and supplies storage. The current space, approximately 530 square feet, contains a meeting area, bathroom, and lockerroom. It is the request for this area to be demolished and renovated into a single room to house a large meeting area and appliances. Along with the remodeling of the existing room, a new addition to the west side of the building will need to be constructed to accommodate two (2) ADA accessible bathrooms with showers, a locker-room area, and an open multipurpose room. The addition will be approximately 620 square feet. The forecasted budget is $325,000.00 Questions, requests for information, and/or inquiries related to this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to Jim Hock at jhock@burgawnc.gov, no later than March 29, 2023 by 3:00 pm.
