Asbestos abatement and renovation of an educational facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
The intent of this solicitation is to select a successful Bidder to remove and replace cove base, step treads and carpet, walkoff style and carpet tiles in multiple buildings located in various campuses of Greenville Technical College. Installation: The Contractor will be responsible for all labor; materials, including glue/adhesive, tools, transition strips, (black and color) and cost associated with the project including measurements, design plans and asbestos abatement where needed. A mandatory site visit is required for this purpose. Removal: The Contractor will be responsible for the safe removal, hauling and appropriate disposal of existing material to include floor tile, cove base, carpet, stair treads, and any items needing to be moved to perform the work. Including furniture and door adjustments. Asbestos: Abatement of asbestos will also be required in some areas by qualified removal personnel. Asbestos testing reports will be available upon request. Asbestos abatement cost must be included in total cost. Proof of Asbestos Abatement License required prior to award.
