The Commissioners of Cambridge are soliciting bids from landscaping contractors to provide grass cutting and other services for miscellaneous City properties. The properties will include all City parks, City offices, and various other City owned properties. The work performed shall include weekly grass cutting, trimming, edging of sidewalks (when needed), and herbicide spraying around equipment. Due to various events being held throughout the City, the contractor will be notified as far in advance (but no less than one (1) week) of special times when the areas need to be cut. Bids shall include a price for the first year and a price for a second year should the City wish to extend the contract. Contractors shall use the bid form and map provided by the City for submitting their bid. Bidders shall visit the sites before submitting a bid for this work and thoroughly familiarize themselves with the properties prior to submitting their bid.
