Addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 10,400-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.

The Prince George Airport Authority is requesting proposals from interested parties for the design and construction of the Combined Service Building Equipment Storage Expansion located at the Prince George International Airport, 10 - 4141 Airport Rd, Prince George, British Columbia. The scope of work includes the design and construction of new Maintenance Bay that will be attached to the existing Combined Services Building. The work related to the design and construction shall include, but is not limited to the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil works associated with the proposed addition and modification of the current CBS building to accommodate access between the new and existing service bays. The proposed Maintenance Bay expansion shall meet all current codes and will be approximately 100' x 104' and 20' high to accommodate space required to house 2 MB2 T4 Cradle Broom Sweeper Vehicles. The extension will be attached to the existing salt storage bay, on the south side of the building. The salt storage bay will need to be modified to introduce a corridor between the existing and new bays. No new washrooms or change rooms are envisioned as part of this expansion, as staff working in the new maintenance bays will access the existing building facilities. The expansion of the building will displace an existing Quonset on site. This will be relocated as part of this project. There are also existing services that are located along the south side of the existing maintenance building that will need to be revised to suit the new expansion space. Bid values are undisclosed.
