Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gonzales, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.

Unbale to locate company name on google. ** Separate sealed bids addressed to the City of Gonzales (OWNER) clearly labeled "ATTENTION: CITY SECRETARY, 2022 STREET IMPROVEMENT PLANS" will be received. This project includes approximately 4,950 SY of pavement milling, installation of approximately 12,375 SY PetroMat and the installation of approximately 12,375 SY of 2" HMAC over entire length and width of project streets (St. Lawrence Street and a small portion of Church Street) and replacement of approximately 2,466 LF of curb & gutter and installation of 1,272 LF of valley gutter and driveway approaches, sidewalks and curb ramps along these streets. This project also includes bid alternates for the installation of several curb inlets and 372 linear feet storm sewer pipe. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid price payable without recourse to the City of Gonzales, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required performance and payment bonds. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder; however, the right is reserved, as the interests of the OWNER may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality or minor defects in bids received. Bids may be held by the City of Gonzales for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening for Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. There will not be a pre-bid conference; however, contractors shall make their own individual site inspections and/or investigations to make themselves aware of existing conditions/issues. Failure to make adequate observations and/or ask questions shall not be grounds for requesting additional work or services. Questions shall be forwarded to J. This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. Attention is called to the requirements of this funding outlined under Statement Regarding Compliance with the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Interim Final Rule and Final Rule, particularly the requirement of paying not less than the prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate specified in the contract documents. These rates are minimums to be paid during the life of the contract. It is therefore the responsibility of the Bidder to inform themselves as to the local labor conditions. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, age or national origin, and other civil rights requirements. The City of Gonzales is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Conflicts Disclosure Statement. (Sec. 176.003 in Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code) a. A local government officer shall file a conflicts disclosure statement with respect to a vendor if: 1) The vendor enters into a contract with the local governmental entity or the local governmental entity is considering entering into a contract with the vendor; and 2) the vendor: I. has an employment or other business relationship with the local government officer or a family member of the officer that results in the officer or family member receiving taxable income, other than investment income, that exceeds $2,500 during the 12-month period preceding the date that the officer becomes aware that (i) a contract between the local governmental entity and the vendor has been executed; or (ii) the local governmental entity is considering entering into a contract with the vendor; II. has given to the local government officer or a family member of the officer one or more gifts that have an aggregate value of more than $100 in the 12-month period preceding the date that the officer becomes aware that: (i) a contract between the local governmental entity and the vendor has been executed; or (ii) the local governmental entity is considering entering into a contract with the vendor; or has a family relationship with the local government officer. (a-1) A local government officer is not required to file a conflicts disclosure statement if relation to a gift accepted by the officer or a family member of the officer if the gift is: (1) a political contribution as defined by Title 15, Election Code; or (2) food accepted as a guest. (a-2) A local government officer is not required to file a conflicts disclosure statement under Subsection (a) if the local governmental entity or vendor described by that subsection is an administrative agency created under Section 791.013, Government Code. b. A local government officer shall file the conflicts disclosure statement with the records administrator of the local governmental entity not later than 5 p.m. on the seventh business day after the date on which the officer becomes aware of the facts that require the filing of the statement under Subsection (a).
