Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Work will consist of furnishing all services, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work as per plans and specifications set forth by the Tuscarawas County Engineer. Specifically, the projects will consist of the following: Project #5-2023 - Bridge Deck Waterproofing and Paving Furnish and install ODOT Item 512.08 Type 3 Membrane Waterproofing, primer and asphalt concrete on one (1) new precast concrete box beam bridge and one (1) box culvert constructed by County Forces and three (3) existing bridges throughout the 2023 construction season. Bids shall be in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code The Tuscarawas County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The Engineer's estimate for this project is: $140,000.00 The locations of one (1) new bridge, one (1) new box culvert bridge and three (3) existing bridges to be waterproofed and resurfaced. This listing is tentative and may be adjusted as required. The scope of the project consists of preparation work, mobilization, traffic control where necessary, primer and type 3 membrane waterproofing on precast box beam bridges and a box culvert with placing 301 Bituminous Aggregate Base or 404 Asphalt Concrete and berming on portions of Roads as directed, grading and reshaping as needed and planing existing pavement surfaces and resurfacing planed areas as directed. Approach paving on new bridges and paving on intersection or other projects, if required, will consist of 6" of 301 Bituminous Aggregate Base and 1.5" of 404 Asphalt Concrete. Paving over bridge decks and appurtenances shall consist of 2" at edges and 4" inches of 404 at centerline. Paving over milled approaches and milled surfaces shall be as required or directed to transition from bridge deck into existing pavement. Berming on intersection or other projects, if required, will consist of placing 3 1/2 " of asphalt grindings along the edges at a width of three (3) feet and compacting material. Existing bridge waterproofing is to be complete by September 30, 2023
