The City of Arcadia (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is requesting proposals from a qualified public entity and/or private firm to establish a contract for the operation of the City of Arcadia Police Department’s Type I Jail Facility. The contract term will be for a period of three (3) years beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026, with the option to renew on a year-by-year basis for a maximum of three (3) additional one (1) year periods. This contract is intended to include all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to provide for a safe, efficient operation of a Type I Jail Facility in accordance with all Federal and State guidelines currently in force and any future requirements throughout the term of the contract.
