This Contract is for the procurement and commissioning of battery electric bus charging equipment and infrastructure at the existing Kirk Bus Storage Facility, located at 2300 Kirk Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21218. Estimated value for this work is in the range of Maryland DOT Terms & Conditions TC-2:01 Project Classification Cost Group "C" ($500,001 - $1,000,000). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Questions regarding the work should be directed in writing to Heather Martin at the Administration Offices or via email address hmartin@mdot.maryland.gov. Questions directed to this office must be received no later than February 27, 2022 by 2:00pm. Questions should be submitted on company letterhead. No interpretations other than written shall be binding on the Administration. Each bid exceeding $100,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of the Contract Price will be required by the awardee. It is the goal of the Administration that Minority Business Enterprises participate in all Contracts. Each Contract will contain goals for Minority Business Enterprise participation on a contract-to-contract basis. A subcontracting goal of ten percent (10%) has been established for this procurement.
