The purpose of the project is for the install/construction of a new synthetic turf to be in the existing infield grass area of the existing track, to include all supporting necessary to ensure that the completion of work as described, herein are fully operational and incompliance with all applicable Maryland State codes, DGS, MDARNG/MMD standards and regulations. The work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization. 2. Construction Stakeout. 3. Clearing and grubbing. 4. Construction of artificial turf field including drainage system and outfall protection. 5. Construction of Outfall Drainage Channel. 6. Track repairs. 7. Erosion and Sediment Control. Project Cost Class D - $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The MBE subcontracting participation goal for this solicitation is: 5% (No Split). The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $750.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions." The deadline for questions has been established as February 15, 2023 @ 2:00 p.m., to ensure that there is enough time to allow for the A/E to provide responses and possible Addendum issuance if necessary. Federal wage rates apply to this contract. Wage rates are attached to the solicitation.
