Site work for a road / highway in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The 2804 N. Westshire Drive project site is located in a residential hillside area approximately 1.2 miles north of the intersection of the Hollywood (101) Freeway and Gower Street. At the project site, an erosion gully has developed on the slope between the Lechner Place roadway and the property at 2804 N. West shore Drive. The erosion gully resulted in the creation of a 3- to 4-foot-high (approximate) vertical scarp adjacent to Lechner Place and has undermined approximately 7 linear feet of the roadway. These conditions have created a threat to public safety along Lechner Place. This project will mitigate the threat to public safety and restore lateral support to Lechner Place by constructing a new bulkhead retaining structure along the southeast side of Lechner Place and along the northwest property boundary for 2804 N. Westshore Drive. A Bid Bond is not required. The successful bidder shall provide two good and sufficient surety bonds. The "Payment Bond" and "Performance Bond" shall each be for not less than 100 percent of the Task Bid Price Only pre-qualified contractors on the Pre-Qualified List of Contractors (above) can bid on this project as a Prime Contractor.
