For Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) TFI Bar Screen Upgrades The City of Everett owns the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) at 4027 4th Street SE, Everett, WA 98201 and is seeking a Contractor to construct and/or install the following, but not limited to: 1. Relocation of existing electrical and. fiber optic conduits and a 10-inch tank drain pipeline. 2. Trenching, excavation, shoring, dewatering, piping, fittings, couplings, flexible connectors, bedding, backfill, and compaction for installation of a new 36-inch bypass pipeline and precast concrete junction vault. 3. Temporary erosion and sediment control measures. 4. Bypass pumping during installation of the new 36-inch bypass pipeline, precast concrete junction vault, and associated slide gates. 5. Asphalt paving removal and replacement associated with excavation for the pipeline and precast vault. 6. Demolition of a section ofthe existing 48-inch aerated lagoon effluent (ALE) pipeline downstream of the Recirculation/ Bypass Flow Control Structure to allow installation of the new precast concrete junction vault. 7. Connection of the new precast concrete junction vault to the existing 48-inch ALE pipeline upstream and downstream of the vault. 8. Coring a hole and installing a slide gate in existing Diversion Structure 2 for connection and isolation of the new 36-inch bypass pipeline. 9. Installing a slide gate in the eastern compartment of the Recirculation/Bypass Flow Control Structure for isolation of the 48-inch ALE pipeline from Diversion Structure 2. 10. installing slide gates in the new precast concrete junction vault for isolation of the 48-inch ALE pipeline downstream of the eastern compartment of the Recirculation/Bvpass Flow Control Structure and the downstream end of the new 36-inch bypass pipeline. 11. Demolishing an existing slide gate and flap gate in the existing Recirculation/Bypass Flow Control Structure. 12. Fabricating and installing a new static weir assembly in the western compartment of the Recirculation/Bypass Flow Control Structure. All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of 45 days after bid opening. The Contractor will be required, to comply with all local.
