This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of Residential Installation and Repair of Fiber Optic Services as further described below (the "Deliverables"): SaskTel is seeking a demand-based supplier(s) in Regina and Saskatoon to complete fiber optic service installation and repair in customer premise's with estimated quantities between 6000 and 9000 combined tickets per year. As this is a demand-based contract, SaskTel cannot guarantee the number of Work Orders but provide estimates based on historical data. The supplier will be expected to provide all hand tools and test equipment related to these tasks along with proper vehicles and electronic support equipment (cells phones/laptops). The work will primarily be in Saskatoon and Regina areas with potential to branch out to other communities in times of need (will be discussed prior to request being made). There will be performance KPI's that must be met (ex. same level of timeliness/quality and repeat visit rates that SaskTel holds for internal) these measurements what will be outlined within the RFP draft contract. Must have an internal inspection program with inspection results documented and available to be presented to SaskTel. The supplier must have a secure storage facility to store all related materials (ie. set top boxes, modems, extenders, drop cables and other materials requires for install). The Supplier must also have a central dispatch person to receive workloads from SaskTel and to update back once work is actioned. The Supplier will be responsible for all training requirements.
