In-Situ Chemical Oxidation Project - 229-239 Main Street The Project involves treating soil and groundwater contamination originating from gasoline releases during historic operations as an auto repair and service station. The Project involves designing, installing, and implementing in-situ chemical oxidation to reduce elevated levels of residual volatile petroleum hydrocarbon (VPH) and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in soil and groundwater, as defined in these Contract Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, subject to the conditions contained in the Information for Bidders. The amount of the bid security shall be five (5) percent of the value of the bid for the complete project, payable to the Town of Bourne. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Payment Bond, issued by a surety company qualified to do business under the Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Town of Bourne. The Payment Bond shall be in the sum of fifty (50) percent of the total Contract price. Work under this Project must be substantially completed within forty-five (45) business days of the date stipulated in the Notice to Proceed. award to ISO-TEC for $150,134
