Saving Project...

Site work for a civil project in Centralia, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Water Department currently owns 12.92 acres on top of Seminary Hill. The plan for this property is to build a standpipe reservoir that would serve the Seminary Hill water system. The new reservoir project would require that we also replace and upgrade the water mains that currently serve Seminary Hill customers that were installed in 1965. There is approximately 3.5 miles of water main that will need to be replaced. This project is tentatively scheduled to begin during the construction season of 2025. This is a very large project that will require an engineered design. Project is included in the City of Centralia's FY 2023-2027 CIP Document. Per the owner, as of June 16, 2023, a design team has been selected. The owner states that this project is anticipated to advertise for construction bids in 2025.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
