Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fleming, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done consists of the installation of concrete walking trail, whose length is approximately 1,200 linear feet at Gill Park on Freedman Grove Road. Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided & shall contain prices in words & figures for the work bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Liberty Co. Bd of Commissioners in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Liberty Co Bd of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after being notified of contract award. The M/WBE goal for this project is 10% MBE & 3% WBE, for a total M/WBE participation of 13%. All M/WBE documents must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, otherwise bid may be rejected. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids & to waive informalities.
