Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chester, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Chester Independent School District is soliciting proposals for qualifications from qualified persons or companies to serve as Construction Manage-at-Risk for the construction of District Improvements. This is a one-step selection process pursuant to Texas Government Code Sect. 2269.253. Responses must be submitted in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in the Request for Qualifications. Sealed responses must be received by March 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM., in envelopes plainly marked, "Qualifications for Construction Manager-At-Risk." Faxed or electronic proposals are not acceptable and will be disqualified. Chester ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals/qualifications. The proposed Project consists of construction of a new HS/JH building, demolition of three buildings, new lobby on competition gym, and other minor renovations The estimated budget for this Project is to be determined. General Conditions cost should be based upon a $5,315,000 construction cost
