The Cooper Hall Asbestos Abatement Project Phases 1 & 2 will take place within Cooper Hall located on the campus of Morehead State University. This scope of work includes complete asbestos abatement of the following items: PHASE 1 Floor tile & mastic in rooms and corridors Pipe elbows, valve covers and boiler in mechanical room Pipe elbows & fitting insulation and debris in pipe tunnels Pipe elbows & fitting insulation and debris in vertical pipe chases Glue dots behind mirrors and bulletin boards Glue dots behind ceiling tile in corridors and a few rooms PHASE 2 Window glazing on all windows Bids will be received from contractors on a Lump Sum Amount for the total project. All phases of the work shall be submitted in the manner herein described and on the official proposal form included with the conditions and specifications and shall be subject to all the conditions as set forth and described in the Bid Documents. Substantial completion shall be 45 calendar days after contract start date. Final completion shall be 60 calendar days after contract start date. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder.
