Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Qualified Contractors are invited to bid on the construction of the Wells Street Improvements project. Work consists of replacement of an 8" sanitary sewer line, storm drainage improvements, installation of curb, gutter & sidewalks, lighting, and road reconstruction and resurfacing. Bidders shall visit the site before submitting a bid for this work and thoroughly familiarize themselves as to the accuracy and correctness of the same. This project is being funded by the Maryland Community Development Block Grant Program and Contractors are required to provide a good faith effort to utilize Dorchester County businesses and to hire lower income persons residing in Dorchester County. Prior to award of the contract, the chosen bidder will be required to provide documentation of their efforts. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. This project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive informalities or irregularities as it may deem best for its interest.
