Renovation of an educational facility in Lake Forest, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required, shall be provided to the District at the time of execution of the contract, shall be in the form provided by the District, and must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure section 995. All questions, requests for explanation, information, or clarifications of any kind in regard to this RFP shall be made in written form, submitted via email to Doug Monfils, at Douglas.Monfils@svusd.org. All questions, requests for explanation, information, or clarifications must be submitted by no later than 4:00 p.m., March 10th, 2023. A response will not be provided to any late questions, requests for explanation, information, or clarifications. The District has contracted with the following architects for the Proposed Projects: (1) Rancho Canada Elementary Modernization Project- Ruhnau & Clark Architects (2) Robinson Elementary Modernization Project - PBK Architects (3) Foothill Ranch Elementary Modernization Project- PJHM Architects Page 2 of 16 The foregoing design firms will be the Architects of Record for the Proposed Projects, and the lease-leaseback Contractor will be expected to provide preconstruction services, and lease-leaseback construction services forthe Proposed Projects as described below: Serrano Intermediate, The District owns real property located at 24642 Jeronimo, Lake Forest, CA 92630 and identified as Orange County Assessor Parcel No.614-161-08 ("Property"). The Proposed Project will be construced on the Property, which consists of approximately 21 acres. Foothill Ranch Elementary, The District owns real property located at 1 Torino Dr., Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 and identified as Orange County Assessor Parcel No.601-111-05 ("Property"). The Proposed Project will be constructed on the Property, which consists of approximately 12 acres. (4) Serrano Intermediate Partial Modernization and Administrative Reconfiguration Project -Westberg & White Inc. Robinson Elementary, The District owns real property located at 21400 Lindsay Dr, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679 and identified as Orange County Assessor Parcel No. 833- 721-05 and 833-721-04 ("Property"). The Proposed Project will be construced on the Property, which consists of approximately 8.4 acres. Rancho Canada Elementary, The District owns real property located at 21801 Winding way, Lake Forest, CA 92630 and identified as Orange County Assessor Parcel No. 614- 491-01 ("Property"). The Proposed Project will be construced on the Property, which consists of approximately 8.77 acres. The estimated construction budget for the Proposed Project is $11,500,000. The estimated performance period for the preconstruction and construction services is 2 months 5 days. The estimated construction budget for the Proposed Project is $2,250,000.
