Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lowell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
It was moved by YANKOVICH and seconded by SALZWEDEL that the Lowell City Council approve the Monroe Street Improvement Project bid from CL Trucking LLC, Ionia, Michigan, for a cost of $3,059,340.50, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the documents, as necessary. The Project includes the following Work: Removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement, sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer and associated structures, upgrades to existing concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk ramps. Bids will be received on a unit price basis for a single prime Contract. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $3,400,000. The Project has an expected duration of 160 days. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing (email or delivered).
