C009General Construction/Alteration and Addition. Contract # 1 Security Upgrade: The scope of the proposed security upgrade includes three major components: 1. Redirect visitor access onto the site and restrict unauthorized access into the school. 2. Relocate the main office to the first floor to a position of control. 3. Install secured vestibules at each exterior door with increased surveillance and access control capabilities. All exterior doors will be isolated by way of secured vestibules. An access control system will be introduced. Interior and exterior vestibule doors will receive new access control hardware, electronic locking, and video/intercoms. Four exterior vestibules and four interior vestibules will be constructed. Related work will also include limited site construction and repairs. The administrative offices will be relocated to a reconfigured space on the first floor of the school. A new classroom will be constructed on the second floor in the space vacated by the administrative offices. Contract # 2 Renovation of Science Labs The scope includes interior renovations and upgrades to the high school science labs. Each room will receive an upgrade to the lab furniture, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, ceiling, and finishes. Additional electrical receptacles will be introduced; increased ventilation will be provided. Sinks, showers, and eyewash stations wilt be replaced. New fume hoods will be provided. All work relating to converting the home economics classroom into a cafeteria has been removed from the project scope. All questions must be submitted in Monday, 18 September 2023 at 2:00 PM.
