Site work and paving for a road / highway in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will consist of six (6) Base Bids and one Add Alternate Bid to be potentially added into the overall contract: Base Bids – work will consist of the Contractor Milling 3” Depth approximately 11,700 s.y., Milling 1.5” Depth approximately 12,335 s.y., installing approximately 1,300 tons of (2” Depth) 19 mm Binder Course (PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL’s SRL-M), 24,035 s.y. of 1-½“ Wearing Course (9.5 mm, PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL’s SRL-M), 1,285 s.y. Base Soft Spot Repair, 17,660 l.f. Wedge Curb, driveway transitions, keyways and traffic control measures. Add Alternate Bids – approximately 16,350 l.f. of Backfill and seeding behind curbs and along edge of roadway. The Contractor shall inspect and review each roadway or project area prior to submitting a bid. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of North Strabane Township. North Strabane Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
