The Val Verde County Commissioners Court is soliciting firms for improvements to Cienegas Road Project. Firms interested in providing professional services to prepare engineering plans and cost estimation for improvements to Cienegas Road, with preference given to firms with experience in municipal and collegiate level projects, should submit their statement of interest and qualifications. Vai Verde County Cienegas Road Project is located in Del Rio, Texas. Cienegas Road is approximately 1.89 miles from City of Del Rio City limits to Duck Pond Road. The purpose of this project is to select a firm to develop engineering design plans, prepare estimates and to obtain environmental clearance for roadway construction. A Geotech study was performed and it is available for review upon request. Questions and responses in reference to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) should be directed to Carlos Velarde, P.E., County Engineer at cvelarde@valverdecountv.texas.gov no later than February 28, 2023. Vai Verde County will form a committee to analyze and evaluate the submissions based on statement of qualifications and criteria listed. Firms submitting statements of qualifications should be ready to negotiate a professional services fee within ten (10) working days after notifications of recommendation for award. Construction plans by recipient of award are to be signed and sealed by a registered professional engineer and licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
