Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sulphur, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Scope of work includes the furnishing, receiving, off-loading, and installation of pressure filter process equipment, tanks, internals, media, and other materials for eight (8) new potable water treatment manganese greensand process pressure filters (each tank is eight (8) foot diameter by twenty (25) foot long straight shell welded steel). The scope of work is also inclusive of the removal and offsite disposal of the eight (8) existing welded steel tanks, pressure filter internals, filter gravel, filter media, and the installation other ancillary equipment and materials all as detailed on the Plans and as specified in the Technical Provisions. Work Classification Work Classification: Municipal and Public Works Construction or Heavy Construction The Attention of Bidders is called particularly to the Federal Contract Provisions and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements. Minority, female-owned, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to participate. The City of Sulphur is an equal opportunity employer.
