These Bids Will Be Submitted for Approval at the Meeting of the District Board on March 23rd 2023. All Bids Must Be Submitted in a Sealed Envelope Addressed to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District. Each Sealed Envelope Containing a Bid Must Be Plainly Marked on the Outside as "bid for Bleach to Be Opened March 16th, 2023." Bid Prices Will Be F.o.b. To the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Treatment Plant, 5590 Hwy 178 West, Fulton, MS 38843. The Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District Reserves the Right to Accept Alternate Bids in the Event the Primary Supplier is Unable to Provide Products as Specified. Bleach Must Be Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approved. All Vendors Shall Provide Certificate of Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approvals. This Shall Be Submitted With Your Bid. The Bid Shall Be on a Bulk Basis and Material Shall Meet the Following Specifications: 1.sodium Hypochlorite / 10 Percent Quantities Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite Shall Be Delivered in 4500 -gallon Truck Load Shipments. Unloading of Hypochlorite Shall Be by a Pump Provided on the Delivery Truck and Shall Be Placed Into the Ap- Propriate 5000 Gallon Storage Tanks Onsite at the Treatment Plant as Directed by the Treatment Plant Staff. Impurities Sodium Hypochlorite Shall Contain No Soluble Material or Organic Substances in Quantities Capable of Producing Deleterious Effects on the Health of Those Consuming Water That Has Been Treated Properly With the Sodium Hypochlorite. Sodium Hypochlorite Also Must Comply With the Specifications Listed Below Related to Impurities. Standard Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite Must Meet Awwa Standard B300. Specifications Sodium Hypochlorite Shall Have a Minimum of 10 Percent by Weight Naocl. Hypochlorite Supplied Shall Be Free of Visible Sediment. A 1,000 Ml Sample of the Sodium Hypochlorite Supplied Shall Pass Through a 0.8 Micron Filter Under Vacuum Within Five Minutes. Water Treatment Operators Will Perform This Test Prior to Accepting Each Delivery for Unloading. Sodium Hypochlorite Also Shall Meet the Contaminant Concentration Limits Below. Iron <2.0 Mg/l Copper <0.2 Mg/l Bromate <24 Mg/l Mercury <0.05 Mg/l Nickel <0.1 Mg/l Cobalt 0.1 Mg/l Chlorate <2,500 Mg/l an Analysis Report Shall Be Sub- Mitted for Each Sodium Hypochlo- Rite Delivery to the District. The Analysis Shall Include the Date of Manufacture of the Load Delivered and Contain the Percent by Weight Naocl, Specific Gravity of the So- Lution, and the Estimated Pounds Per Gallon of Each of the Follow- Ing: Active Chlorine Excess Naoh Delivery Delivery Shall Be Within Five Working Days After Receipt of Order by the District. Bleach to Be Bid Delivered to the Plant Site in Pepper- Town, Mississippi. Delivery Times Recongnized at the Plant Will Be Monday - Friday, 8 Am to 4 Pm. Size of Orders Will Be Based on Available Storage at the Plant. All Prices Shall Be for Bulk Quantities and Said Prices Shall Remain Constant for a Period of Three Calendar Months, April 1st, 2023 Thru June 30th, 2023, Following the Acceptance of the Bids. The District Shall Not Recognize Any Modifica- Tions to the Price of the Chemicals During Quarter, Including but Not Limited to Fuel Surcharges and Other Charges. Invoices Received After the Third Wednesday of the Month, Will Be Paid the Following Month. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
