For performing work as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as Annual West Side Slurry Seal, DPW Project No. 22-10, according to drawings and specifications prepared by the City of El Paso de Robles and according to the Contract Documents. The work shall include but is not limited to, dig-out repairs, lower and raise utility covers, placement of leveling course and rubberized chip seal or fiberized slurry, and pavement striping, all as shown on the plans and/or as specified herein. Project is to be completed within Forty-five (45) WORKING days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall pay to the City of El Paso de Robles the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), for each and every calendar day delay in finishing the work in excess of the calendar day completion time. All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of the Business and Professions Code to do the type of work contemplated in the project. In accordance with provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 3300, City has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid Class A (General Engineering) License at the time that the bid is submitted. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the bid non-responsive.
