Renovation of a detention facility in Yulee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the removal and replacement of two (2) boilers located at the Nassau County Detention Center, 76212 Nicholas Cuthina Rd., Yulee, FL 32097. Vendor will be responsible for: o The removal and disposal of two (2) Lochinvar, LP gas boilers, M#-CFL1260PM o Installing two (2) new matching boilers of equal BTU's and capacity o All required permits and for State Certification of the new boilers upon completion. o Include pump replacements as an option in the bid The boilers should be changed out in stages to limit the down time as much as possible. The current boilers are tied into the jail management system (Niagara). Vendor is to ensure new boilers are compatible and tie into that system. This is a turnkey project that will need to be completed in an expedited timeframe so as to not leave the jail without hot water. All technicians will need to pass a background check before being on site to work. Background checks will be performed by the Nassau County Sheriff's Office Deadline for Questions: March 2, 2023 @ 4:00 PM EST
