Renovation of a parking garage in Washington Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Project involves the one or more of the following tasks at various WP A Garages: partial and full depth concrete repairs; post tensioning repairs; overhead and vertical concrete repairs; installation of waterproofing membrane; expansion joint repairs: fa ade repairs, sealing of cracks and construction joints; epoxy injection of cracks; tee joint sealant replacement; replacement of drains and piping and other miscellaneous repairs. Only those General Contractors who have demonstrated past experience on parking garage rehabilitation projects of total $1,500,000 (One million five hundred thousand dollars) or greater in the last five years may submit bids on this project. A minimum of five (5) project references, each with a contract value of $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars) or more is required in order to bid on this project. All Bidders shall submit the fully completed Contractor s Qualification Statement and Questionnaire included in the Project Manual with the submission of their bids in order to verify the qualifications. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans. Questions received after the cutoff time will not be opened. All questions and responses will be shared with all Bidders.
