Working plans call for the addition of a 6,572-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

**As of April 21, 2023, project will rebid. No definite date for the rebid.** Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of bidder's bond executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, for the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price or other security as described in Tennessee Code Annotated 12-4-201, for 25% of the contract sum. Bonds must be accompanied by Power of Attorney. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty days (30) after the date set for the opening of bid. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Chapter 135 Public Acts of 1945 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, Section 1. Bidder's name and license number must be placed on the envelope containing his bid and bond. The Contractor shall be responsible for verifying and maintaining documentation that all construction forces that are on all construction sites have met the State of Tennessee Background Check. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities therein. The Bid Envelope Cover Sheet must be completely filled out. Any bids received with Bid Envelope THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF A RENOVATION TO AN EXISTING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AS WELL AS TWO CLASSROOM WING ADDITIONS. AREAS TO BE RENOVATED ARE GROUP RESTROOMS, LOCKER ROOMS, AND KITCHEN. The work included under these Specifications and the accompanying drawings consists of providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods listed, mentioned or scheduled on the drawings and/or herein, including all labor, materials, services, equipment and incidentals for the construction of the South Cumberland Elementary School Addition & Renovation.
