Site is located in East Shelby County Region. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) has planned for a New East Region High School to accommodate 1800 students with room to expand to 2200 students. The estimated construction budget is currently $100,000,000 - $150,000,000. Design shall include athletic and multipurpose activity fields with accessory/ support buildings to be determined during the programming phase. The Scope of Work for the design and engineering services shall include but not be limited to, the following: o Utilize the "Design/Planning Principles & Construction Guidelines for Memphis-Shelby County Schools", latest edition. o Due diligence services, as outlined in Section III "Due Diligence" of the "Design/Planning Principles & Construction Guidelines for Memphis-Shelby County Schools," latest edition. o Utilize MSCS Department of Major Construction's construction platform, PROCORE. This access and training will be at no cost to the vendor. o Sustainable design, ADA compliance, estimating, civil, landscape, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, IT, security, intercom, network, EMS, site utility, acoustical, and interior design. A Minority or Woman-owned Business Enterprises goal has been set for MSCS Professional Architectural & Engineering Services - New East Region High School is 19.5%. In achieving this established project goal, the MWBE participation goals for MSCS Professional Architectural & Engineering Services - New East Region High School is 19.5% defined as the total dollar value of the subcontracts awarded to certified minority business enterprises (MBE), or certified woman-owned business enterprises (WBE), divided by the total dollar value bid amount.
