The Dushore Park ADA Playground & Accessible Route Development Project The project site is the Dushore Park, 114 North German Street, Borough of Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. a) Installation and removal of required Erosion and Sediment Control BMPs b) Site Preparation c) Construction of an ADA Parking Area with painting and signage d) Construction of an ADA Accessible Route e) Receipt and Installation of a Project Sign CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/9/2023 4:00 PM The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount not less then ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid submitted. This sum will serve as a bid security and will be forfeited to Dushore Burough as liquidated damages in the event that an award is made, and the contract and bonds are not promptly executed as required in the contract documents for required bonds and insurance coverage. This project is subject to the labor standards as required by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act #442 and reference is made to prevailing wage rates applicable to this project and which have been included as part of this project. Where a particular craft is not listed in the prevailing wage rates, the contractor shall contact the Department's rate determination department to determine the rates that will apply to satisfy the Act's Requirements. Both Davis Bacon Federal Wage Rates and Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. Where duplicated, the higher of the two must be provided in the bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date specified for opening and reading of the bids, except as provided in accordance with the Pennsylvania Act No. 4 as approved on January 23, 1974. Dushore Borough reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technical defects and irregularities.
