Amelia Middle School Re-Roofing Project Amelia County School Board ("School Board" or "ACPS"), by means of this Invitation for Bid (the "IFB") is soliciting com- petitive sealed bids from licensed, qualified firms to establish a contract for the replacement of low slope roof systems at Amelia County Middle School lo- cated at 8740 Otterburn Road, Amelia Court House, VA 23002. Bids received in response to this Invitation will be opened at the time and place stated and will be made public only as pro- vided by the Virginia Pub- lic Procurement Act and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. Jun 5, 2023 Construction Begins (Earliest Start Date) Aug 4, 2023 Date of Final Completion Bid Bond: Any bid (including the Total Base Bid plus all Additive Bid Items) which exceeds five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Bid Bond must be issued by a surety company which is legally authorized by the state of the jurisdiction of the Work to do fidelity and surety business in that state. Performance and Payment bonds are required for this project.
