**As of April 21, 2023, project was awarded to CTH Ventures LLC but awarded amount is not available.** The Citadel seeks to solicit bids to hire a surface restoration or refinishing contractor to perform work on The Citadel campus in buildings and campus housing to restore and resurface existing vertical/horizontal surfaces. Surfaces can consist of porcelain and ceramic tile, fiberglass, laminate, acrylic, solid surface, and enamel coated cast iron. The process includes but is not limited to the repair of chips and cracks, filling of holes and uneven surfaces, re-caulking as needed, and preparation of surfaces for even, clean, and durable resurfacing. The restoration should return the surface to a "like new" condition. The process could also include removal of some existing materials. The contractor shall supply all materials and equipment needed for removal and/ or resurfacing, including any equipment needed for ventilation of the area during work and any equipment required to enclose an area to prevent odors and debris from going into adjacent areas. 2.0 General Project and Campus Requirements: o Remove and dispose of existing tub and wall surround or liner where applicable. o Prepare walls and all surfaces for new finish. o Fill and smooth damaged or worn areas. o Make minor surface repairs and repair chips and cracks in surfaces. o Resurface Sinks & Vanities. o Resurface kitchen counter tops. o Resurface existing tub. o Resurface showers - surround and pan. o Resurface tiles. o Resurface walls and floors.
