The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as "VDOT" is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver 111, 2' x 2' x 6' Concrete Interlocking Barrier Blocks to the Temperanceville Area Headquarters and the Accomac Area Headquarters in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this solicitation. Period of Contract: From Date of Award to be delivered within 30 days. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver 111, 2' x 2' x 6' Concrete Interlocking Barrier Blocks, solid, notched on bottom for stacking and contain an eye pick (lift hook) on top. (See attachment) Bid price should include block price and delivery charge needed for delivery of 75 Pcs. to the Temperanceville AHQ located at 30487 Temperanceville Road, Temperanceville, Va. 23442, and 36 Pcs to the Accomac AHQ located at 23122 Courthouse Avenue, Accomac, Va. 23301. VDOT personnel will unload blocks upon delivery. Delivery to the Temperanceville AHQ should be scheduled 48 hours in advance of delivery with area superintendent David Pruitt, Phone: 757-824.3510. Delivery Dates/Times - Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm. No deliveries on Weekends or Holidays. Delivery to the Accomac AHQ should be scheduled 48 hours in advance of delivery with area superintendent Rodney Arrowwood, Phone: 757-302-2063.
