Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Vermilion, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Submitted proposals that were not recorded on the Project Manual holders list shall be considered non-responsive. The Bid Proposal must include the cost to perform all the work in accordance with the project specification requirements. Separate bids for portions of the project not listed on the BID form will NOT be accepted. Proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope, which has been plainly marked "Proposal for Main Street Beach & Park". Proposals may be submitted via regular mail or by delivering the proposal to the Vermilion City Hall. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total maximum proposal price made payable to the City of Vermilion for the Main Street Beach & Park as a guarantee that the proposal bidder will enter into an acceptable contract. In addition, a Performance Bond will be required to the contractor awarded the project. Award will be made to thelowest or best proposal bidder. Each bid must satisfy the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54 and Ohio Revised CodeSections 9.311(a) and 9.311(b). Each contractor shall complete a "Non-Collusion" Affidavit and include it with the bid. The successful contractor will be required to execute an affidavit that they are not delinquent in the payment of personal property taxes at the time of the award of the contract. The City of Vermilion reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept that bid which in the judgment of proper officials is to the best interest of the City.
