Renovation of a water / sewer project in Belton, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City intends to select a general contractor to procure and install the clarifier mechanism for Clarifier 1 (Figure 1) at the Belton Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The clarifier mechanism and all appurtenant equipment shall be suitable for installation in the existing 70-foot diameter clarifiers at the Belton Wastewater Treatment Plant as indicated in Appendix A, Scope of Work. Incorporated in Project Special Provisions is a circular clarifier mechanism installation specification that was developed to meet the City's design preferences including controls, materials of construction, and keeping the same suction header type as is currently installed. The specification was reviewed by all acceptable manufacturers listed in Appendix A, Part 2.01.
